JP Integrated Outdoor Distribution Box

JP Integrated Outdoor Distribution Box

The JP integrated outdoor distribution box combines metering, outgoing distribution, control, protection and reactive-power compensation in one low-voltage enclosure. It is designed for the distribution side of outdoor transformer installations, including community and local-network supply points where space is limited.

The series serves three-phase AC 400 V systems, with rated currents up to 630 A and IP54 enclosure protection. Feeder circuits, metering and compensation are arranged to suit the transformer capacity and distribution scheme. Mounting, cable entry and access to each functional section are tailored to the installation.

  • Urban and rural distribution upgrades

Installation & Aftercare

Prepare the site, plan routine checks and keep service records.

What needs to be ready before installation?

  • Mount on the designed outdoor support or plinth, with access for metering, feeder operation and isolated servicing.
  • Match enclosure material and cable entries to rain, dust and corrosion exposure; provide drainage and a sound earthing connection.
  • Keep ventilation openings clear and separate the planned access needs of metering, outgoing circuits and any capacitor compartment.

What should operators check during routine rounds?

  • During rounds, review phase loading, meter indications and compensation alarms where fitted; inspect external seals and corrosion.

What is covered during planned maintenance?

  • At planned isolation, inspect terminals, protective devices and earthing; qualified personnel also examine any capacitor bank for deterioration.
  • Check for water entry after severe weather and investigate unequal loading, repeated trips or capacitor-stage failures.
