Compact Substation
ZGS13-H Pad-Mounted Transformer

ZGS13-H Pad-Mounted Transformer

The ZGS13-H pad-mounted transformer integrates an oil-immersed transformer, medium-voltage load switching and fuse protection in a compact substation assembly. Designed for 12 kV distribution, it supports ring-network, dual-source and terminal supply arrangements for local power distribution.

The integrated format suits sites where equipment footprint and cable routing are key layout considerations. Medium-voltage protection combines a load switch with backup current-limiting and plug-in fuses. Low-voltage distribution, metering, compensation and control functions are configured for the application, with the transformer capacity and outgoing circuits matched to the project load.

Key Features

  • Compact, fully assembled pad-mounted design.
  • Integrated MV switching, fuse protection and transformer.
  • Supports ring-network, dual-source and terminal supply arrangements.
  • Indoor or outdoor installation.

Typical Applications

  • Residential neighbourhood substations
  • Commercial complexes
  • Industrial park distribution

Installation & Aftercare

Prepare the site, plan routine checks and keep service records.

What needs to be ready before installation?

  • Provide a level foundation, a clear lifting route and service access to every operating door; agree lifting points and cable-trench dimensions from the supplied drawings.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing cables, site earthing, drainage and ventilation; keep the enclosure away from flooding or blocked air paths.
  • Before energisation, qualified personnel verify the supplied protection settings, interlocks and installation test records against the approved single-line diagram.

What should operators check during routine rounds?

  • Check enclosure seals, doors, drainage and ventilation; record load and any fitted temperature, alarm or fault indications.

What is covered during planned maintenance?

  • During planned isolation, inspect cable terminations, earthing, protection devices and operating interlocks; remove contamination using the equipment instructions.
  • Inspect the integrated oil tank, bushings and seals for leakage or corrosion. Fuse replacement and internal tank work require qualified personnel and the specified manufacturer procedure.
